Today I'm Remembering

Today I'm remembering the men and women who paid the price.
Today I'm remembering friends, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, a husband... who put the stars and stripes on their sleeve, and were prepared to pay their very lives for this freedom that we love.

Today I'm remembering the Vietnam vet who stood at the wall remembering his buddies. The man who wondered why it was them and not him. Why there were 58,267 names and not 58,268.

Today I'm remembering the countless vets like him, who remember, who wonder... who sacrificed so much.

Today I'm remembering. Tomorrow I will remember again.
And I will teach my son to never, ever forget.

Amen! Very nicely put! May God Bless our Soliders who willingly give up their lives for us, and may God help us remember those who freely gave up everything and died for the sake of freedom, stars and stripes...
