Then They Became Mommies

We met when we were young. Very young. I forget our exact ages, but after spending a couple days together, we became fast friends. Because we lived so far apart, our friendship continued on paper. I doubt there were ever two closer pen pals. We filled page, after page, after page to each other... often. It seemed the phases we went through always seemed to coincide with the other. And then we both fell in love at the same time, and we were both pregnant at the same time. 

I was so thrilled when I got to go spend a day finally with Rachel after the birth of her so beeeeeyoutiful baby girl. It was so much fun to meet eachother's babies for the first time. Hers so beautiful and serene, mine so big and strong and gruff. It was so cute. I couldn't believe how much Jimmy adored little Miss Angeline. So precious! In hindsight, I wish I hadn't been so busy visiting and cuddling a newborn and taken more pictures, yet I couldn't trade the cuddling and visiting for anything.
